The Dodge Charger is an icon in American automotive history, and it continues to impress its drivers with its uncompromising performance and its recognizable muscle-car styling. The 2023 Dodge Charger marks the model’s final year, celebrated with a special “Last Call” badge under the hood and several new color choices. In addition to these farewells, the Charger’s Jailbreak models are now offered for the car’s non-Redeye Hellcats trims.
The 2023 Charger is available with the same powertrains offered in 2023. The lower Charger trims have a V6, 3.6-liter gas engine that produces between 292 and 300 horsepower. Higher trims may be equipped with a V8, 6.4-liter, 392-horsepower engine or a supercharged V8, 6.2-liter, 717-horsepower engine. The SRT Hellcat Redeye is exclusively outfitted with an upgraded V8 that generates 797 horsepower. An adaptive suspension, drag tires, high-performance brakes, launch control, a limited-slip differential, and other mechanical equipment boost the performance of select trims.
